The zoo is now closed for the season and will reopen again in May 2012. Thank you to all vistors who came this year and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Bogdan was born at the zoo on September 8, 2011. Shortly after his birth his mother, Gabby, passed away due to complications. Bogdan is a Russian name we chose meaning gift of God. If you look closely at his back you will see a heart in his stripe pattern. We believe this is a sign from above, his Mommy loves him and is watching over him!
