Lucy, Louie & Leo:

Kiara gave birth to three cubs on July 31st, 2005!  This is her second litter and she did a great job caring for the cubs for a few days.  Much better than her first litter when she would not clean nor nurse them.  Nancy Brown is now bottle feeding the cubs and they are doing great!  There is one female and two males...Lucy, Louie and Leo!

In these pictures, the cubs are 8 days old.

There are some days when the cubs will not be available at the zoo.  Please click here for those dates so that you can plan your trip to Brown's Oakridge Zoo when the cubs are there.  Also, if you are traveling quite a distance, it's best to call in advance to double-check for any last minute changes in the schedule for the cubs.
